Saam has been recognized for his advocacy by many organizations. In early 2014 he was named a Top 100 lawyer in Georgia by the National Advocates Association. Saam was also recognized as a member of the elite top 40 Lawyers under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Most recently, his work has earned him the much coveted “AV-Preeminent” rating by America’s oldest attorney rating organization Martindale-Hubbell with a near perfect 4.9 out of 5.0 rating.
Saam began his legal career as an attorney for a small civil litigation firm in Sandy Springs, where he also served as a clerk during law school. William M. Cheves
William M. Cheves, Jr. is a Senior Attorney of GHIAASIAAN & BRICENO, a three-lawyer firm dedicated to the representation of individuals who have suffered injuries or death due to the negligence of others. Will Cheves has been recognized by various independent surveys as one of Georgia’s Top 100 – Civil Trial Attorneys.

Maria Gabriela Navarro
María Gabriela “Gaby” Navarro is originally from Barcelona, Venezuela. She holds a degree in Communications and graduated Salutatorian from the prestigious Santa Maria University in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela.
Shortly after completing her degree, Gaby started her own company, Exo Comunicaciones C.A., which organized large corporate events and hosted several conferences for motivational speakers.
She relocated to Atlanta in June 2015. In March 2017 she joined Ghiaasiaan & Briceño as their administrative assistant, couple months after she started learning/working in the immigration area.
Gaby is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, and enjoys interacting with and providing friendly and expeditious service to the firm’s international clientele.
Garnet was born in Lockport, NY which is located about 15 miles from Buffalo and Niagara Falls. He lived there until the age of 19 when he relocated to Alabama.
He attended Faulkner University where he received a degree in Business Administration in 1985 I relocated to Atlanta.
Garnet has always had a great interest in law. In 1996 he had an opportunity to work for a personal injury law firm in Atlanta from there he found my niche. He has been working in the Personal Injury field ever since.
Garnet believes that organization is very in important in life and at work. He takes great pride in everything he does.
Working at Ghiaasiaan & Briceno gives Garnet the opportunity to help others that need help when injured. The best part of working in the personal injury field for him is to see the appreciation from the clients when we get them what they deserve.
Garnet is a cancer survivor and because he had this experience, he has a whole new outlook on life that he wishes everyone could understand. Take life one day at a time love, embrace and appreciate life for all that it is.
Geraldine was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She holds a degree in Special Education from Jean Piaget Institute in Caracas. She has dedicated her life to working with children and recently began a new adventure with the Ghiaasiaan And Briceno Team as an administrative assistant. Geraldine is fluent in Spanish and English, and loves spending time with family and friends, but more importantly her darling dogs Bella and Bianca. Atlanta has been her home for 26 years.
Gianfranco V. Iacovelli
Gianfranco V. Iacovelli (GIAN) was originality born and raised in Mexico. At the age of 8, his family relocated to Atlanta and he has been living in this amazing city ever since.
Since he relocate to Atlanta back in 2004, GIAN was fortunate enough to be able to capitalize on the opportunity of being able to live in a Hispanic house hold (to help him keep his Hispanic roots) but was also able to grow up in our diverse American society that we have in the ATL.
Since his youth, GIAN has always been an example to his peers and has set in place some guidelines that he strives to stand by everyday. GIAN’s guidelines are the following 1) Trust 2) Integrity 3) Justice and most importantly 4) Hard Work.
Since joining Ghiaasiaan & Briceño in January of 2020, GIAN has committed himself to stand by those principles while he is working with you (the client) on your case. He will do everything in his ability to fight and get Justice for the inconveniences that this accident has brought to your life.
GIAN is fluent in both English & Spanish and can help accommodate clients that speak either of those languages. At Ghiaasiaan & Briceño we are committed to accommodate our vast international clientele to the best of our abilities and we have made sure we assembled the proper team to achieve that goal.
Jesus Padrino Sequera
Jesus Padrino Sequera is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. He moved to United States in 2012 and has since grown in the American educational system, always belonging to the top 15% of his class from middle school to high school. Currently, he is an undergraduate student with a Full Scholarship on Florida International University pursuing a BA’s in philosophy, seeking to later attend law School.
Since Jesus was 14 years old, he has been very active in his community and non-profit organizations. In High School Jesus was the president of the biggest UNICEF club in the nation and raised well over $100,000. Furthermore, he has been an integral part in leading a Youth Group (6th through 12th grade) in his church, that focuses on youth outreach through various activities, such as: retreats, summer camps, weekly youth meetings, and fundraisers.
Jesus joined the Ghiaasiaan & Briceno team as an Intern on May 2019. Jesus is fluent in English and Spanish.
Karine Silva joined Ghiaasiaan & Briceno in February of 2020. She works as the office’s legal assistant, client relations. Prior to her current role, Karine served as a child coordinator for seven years. Karine graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish. Karine is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. She is originally from Londrina, Brazil. In her spare time, Karine likes to cook, read, run and spend time with her family and friends.
